Sunday Stills – Red

A little late in posting but this is what I had in mind for today’s Sunday Stills.  This is my daughter after the easter egg hunt had started and she found that I had already placed a chocolate bunny in her basket.

  1. Wow that is really good! How do you make the background that way and the color stand out? Love it!

  2. I love what you do with your photos. Pretty in Red…

  3. Very nice. Too sweet!

  4. I agree…love the photo!

  5. Beautiful! Did you make her dress? Very cute!

  6. Wow! That is a phenomenal shot. Very sweet.

  7. Thank you everyone! 😀

Jennifer- I actually used an “action” by the Pioneer Woman who has free downloadable actions on her site — It is called “Colorized.” But, you can do a similar thing by just using your layer mask icons on top of a black and white or sepia photo. I believe PW has a tutorial on it… Or you can google Layer Masks for Photoshop.

Shannon- No, I didn’t make that dress! I love it though and I think it would be fairly simple to duplicate… except the cute sunflower embroidery that’s on it. It was on sale at Kohls. 😉

  8. This is a fabulous shot. Isn’t Pioneer Woman a great site?

  9. This is one of the most creative red pictures I’ve seen! I like the way the background isn’t fully black and white, almost just a washed out color. Nice job!
